To make Jim Beam Double Oak, we start with the world’s #1 bourbon and wait patiently 4 years while it sits breathing in the Kentucky seasons in freshly charred new American Oak barrels. The bourbon is then transferred to a second charred American Oak barrel and aged to taste. The second barreling allows the liquid to develop an even deeper spiced oakiness and rich caramel perfect for mixing in classic cocktails or sipped over ice.
